Meet our Prosthetist

Jason Hayden, CP

Jason Hayden 9948 - JUNE 2015Premier Prosthetic Center Prosthetist Jason Hayden enjoys using his technical and problem solving skills to fit and create prosthetics that enhance the unique abilities and lives of our patients.

Jason comes to Premier Surgical from The Surgical Clinic in Nashville. There he developed a gel liner selection guide based on patient criteria, created a limb measurement system for mold modification reduction values, and established an amputee specific exercise program. Jason is also experienced in surgical healing techniques for amputees and developed post surgical wound care and compression protocol.

Prior to joining The Surgical Clinic Jason trained at the Orthotic and Prosthetic Clinic in Port St. Lucie, Florida; Orthopedic Fixation Systems in Palm City, Florida; and Capstone Prosthetics and Orthotics in Tracy, California.

Prosthetic Patient Coordinator

Isa Dauti

Isa Dauti guide patients through their consultation, appointment and prosthesis care process. He also works with insurance companies to coordinate prosthesis coverage. Before joining Premier Prosthetic Center, Isa worked at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He has a degree in Healthcare Administration from King University.

Prosthetist Assistant

D.J. Vanderwerf

D.J. Vanderwerf is the newest member of the Premier Surgical Prosthetic Center team.  He works with patients during their fabrication and fitting process and brings a personal prospective to the amputee journey.

Because of a birth defect, D.J.’s foot was amputated as an infant. Despite this challenge, he excelled at sports, lettering in football, baseball and basketball in High School and playing football at East Tennessee State University. D.J. is involved with Amputee Blade Runners, a non-profit that provides free running prosthetics for amputee athletes. He is a graduate of ETSU and plans continue his education and become a certified Prosthetist.
